Marketing of Services

Our marketing of services module, taught in the fourth semester of the MBA in Marketing, is an integral part of a curriculum specially designed for students interested in the role of marketing of services in the vast and highly competitive global economy. With the increasing dominance of services in the marketplaces, students will learn the importance of marketing sources and how they help build the economy and are crucial in establishing an edge over competitors. Marketing of services is a very large industry that includes different sectors, many demanding their own unique solutions, like hospitality, telecommunications, healthcare, financial & etc. With the advent of the Internet, the services industry has only expanded further.

This course will set the theoretical framework for students to learn the basics of marketing of services in order to understand what it takes to effectively market in this industry. Studying the marketing of services will help you learn the strategies and techniques required to build a strong relationship with customers and their management and retention for the purpose of creating a loyal customer base.

Marketing services are all about providing value for access to goods, facilities, networks or information to customers. This means gaining skills in successful customer satisfaction and management, thus interspersing your education with elements of people management.
